About the role

Inspire Brands - Product Management Group APM – Data Product About Inspire Brands Product Management Group The product management group spans three verticals that collectively represent the core pillars of Inspire's product org: Guest Product - Serving and delighting customers This team is responsible for the digital experiences that shape how guests discover, engage with, and transact with the Inspire Brands portfolio of restaurants. The portfolio spans customer-facing experiences across the web, mobile, and On-prem in digital ordering, loyalty, personalization, offers, payments, and post-purchase engagement. This team directly influences guest acquisition, frequency, retention, satisfaction, and digital revenue growth. Product Managers in this team operate at the intersection of customer experience, business growth, data insights, and technology innovation—identifying opportunities to simplify guest journeys, remove friction, drive engagement, and create differentiated experiences that strengthen brand loyalty. Data Product - Powering intelligence and decision-making The Data Product organization builds the foundational data capabilities that power decision-making, intelligence, automation, and AI across Inspire Brands. The portfolio spans enterprise data platforms, data domains, analytics products, self-service data experiences, AI/ML enablement, and governance capabilities that transform data into strategic business assets. This team impacts almost every business function, from marketing to operations to leadership. Product Managers in this team focus on translating complex business problems into scalable data products, enabling trusted insights, accelerating decision-making, and creating the data foundation required for advanced analytics, AI, and enterprise-wide transformation. Restaurant & Team Member Product - Enabling the team running the business The Team Member Product Vertical owns the digital products that help restaurant operators, managers, team members, and corporate users run the business effectively. Its portfolio spans workforce experience, restaurant operations, revenue management, back-of-house systems, and other core capabilities that support daily execution across the restaurant network. This team plays a direct role in improving operational excellence, team member experience, restaurant efficiency, and business performance at scale. Product Managers in this vertical partner with operators, functional leaders, and technology teams to simplify workflows, reduce friction, improve productivity, and reimagine work through AI-enabled digital experiences. Product Management @ Inspire Brands At Inspire Brands, we believe the future of product management is AI-first. The Data Product organization builds the foundational data capabilities that power decision-making, intelligence, automation, and AI across Inspire Brands. The portfolio spans enterprise data platforms, data domains, analytics products, self-service data experiences, AI/ML enablement, and governance capabilities that transform data into strategic business assets. This team impacts almost every business function, from marketing to operations to leadership. An Associate Product Manager (APM) in Inspire's Data Products vertical is an early-career product management professional who supports the development and improvement of data platforms and products that empower Inspire Brands' internal teams — Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Operations — to deliver value. The role provides hands-on experience in managing data and analytics products within a complex, multi-brand enterprise environment. The Data Products APM works closely with a Data Product Manager in a specific data domain — for example, Customer Data Platform, Marketing Technology (MarTech), Identity & Customer 360, or Operational Analytics. You assist the Data PM with day-to-day product execution and act as a bridge between technical project execution and product strategy. Other expectations from you are as follows - You demonstrate AI-Native product thinking The strongest product managers of the next decade will be those who understand how to combine human judgment, business context, and AI-enabled ways of working to deliver better outcomes. This role will expect that you view environments blending Agile practices with AI-enabled product development approaches as an opportunity rather than a disruption. We are looking for candidates who: Embrace AI as a force multiplier for discovery, analysis, planning, delivery, and decision-making Demonstrate curiosity about how AI changes product management, software delivery, UX, and business operations Can critically evaluate AI-generated outputs rather than accepting them at face value Are curious about emerging AI-driven approaches to product development In the context of Data Product, actively identify how AI/ML capabilities can be embedded into data products—moving beyond reporting to predictive intelligence, automation, and self-service You help identify & solve meaningful business problems Great product managers start with problems, not solutions—this is an implicit behavior for this role. You will work with Data Science teams, Analytics and Measurement teams, BI teams, engineers, data analysts, and other cross-functional product teams building compelling data products that will deliver actionable insights while enabling needle-moving business decisions. We value first-principles thinking over quantum of feature delivery. At the APM level, your role is to contribute to problem discovery — gathering and synthesizing inputs, asking the right questions, and surfacing evidence that informs your Data PM's decisions. You develop the instinct to ask, "What do you want?" and "Why do you want it?", before freezing requirements. You support high-quality product execution You will need to transform many ideas into well-defined, actionable product work that can move efficiently through discovery, design, development, testing, and launch. Under the right guidance you consistently Maintain backlog hygiene in Jira — keeping tickets tagged, current, and actionable Track delivery milestones, dependencies, and upcoming tasks across active projects Flag risks and blockers early before they impact sprint or PI commitments Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with relevant users (analysts, data scientists), enabling their validation Drive accountability across stakeholders by identifying risks and dependencies before they become blockers Leverage modern tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve execution quality and speed You influence through stakeholder leadership Product management is fundamentally a discipline of influence. You build trusted relationships across business, operations, engineering, design, architecture, analytics, and leadership teams. You align stakeholders around shared outcomes and navigate competing priorities using evidence, judgment, and business context. We value people who can move discussions forward through ambiguity, disagreement, or organizational complexity while maintaining strong partnerships across teams. In this role you partner deeply with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics Engineering teams among others to deliver trusted, production-grade data capabilities. You actively invest in the craft of Product Management You demonstrate growing expertise across product discovery, prioritization, stakeholder management, roadmap planning, execution, validation, and outcome measurement. You leverage AI to accelerate routine product activities while maintaining accountability for the quality and effectiveness of resulting decisions and artifacts. You continually evolve your methods, challenge traditional assumptions, and adopt emerging practices that improve product outcomes and team effectiveness. Participate actively in upskilling initiatives — for example, the peer-led "Masters of Product Management" program and brown bag sessions led by individual PMs sharing improvement learnings. Volunteer to attend, apply learnings, and even present what you've learned

Exceptional candidates typically

Show a genuine hunger to learn the craft of data product management and grow quickly Ask sharp questions that sharpen problem statements and expose hidden assumptions Take initiative on well-scoped tasks without waiting for explicit direction Build credibility with technical partners through attention to detail and follow-through Use AI to accelerate execution while applying strong human judgment Exhibit exceptional learning velocity and approach product management as a craft requiring continuous improvement Take ownership of ambiguous opportunities and proactively drive them toward measurable outcomes Why This Role Matters As an Associate Data Product Manager, you will own meaningful problems across customer identity, analytics enablement, AI/ML capabilities, and data governance—build the foundation enabling smarter decisions and fuel AI transformation at scale. We are looking for future product leaders who navigate complexity, create alignment, drive outcomes, and shape how AI transforms product management, restaurant operations, guest experiences, and digital commerce at scale. Role Fitment

You've worked on data products—platforms, pipelines, analytics tools, self-service experiences, or AI/ML-adjacent capabilities. You have been exposed to data governance, data quality, or data democratization initiatives working with Data Engineering, Data Science, or Analytics Engineering teams.

Experience with AI & Other PM Tools

Built AI-assisted workflows, automations, copilots, agents, or reusable prompting frameworks that improved product management effectiveness (Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, etc.) Familiarity with AI concepts such as RAG, Agentic AI, Evals, MCP, and related system designs Used GenAI tools to accelerate requirements creation and research synthesis or customer insight discovery Familiarity with data tools such as dbt, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent Used AI/ML product workflows—framing use cases or observability, managing model lifecycle dependencies
